During a shoot, an indifferent photographer recounts her childhood and her newfound relationship with a cousin.
After its initial inception in the form of a screenplay in the summer of 2022, and with a small budget of £60 obtained by the University of Warwick and its partnership with the London Film School, (which Albert admittedly went over quite significantly out of his own pocket), Destroyer underwent production on the 21st of January 2023 to the 22nd, only lasting two days of intense filming.
It was a notably small production, with only a cast and crew of 8. Still, with the exemplary commitment of those involved, the group managed to obtain all the material needed for this eight-minute psychological thriller that has so far been selected for 4 festivals across the UK and is now an award winner at the Bright International Film Festival after only being released to the public for a month.
